Look there especially how the maxElementsize (MES) and desired size are propagated. <h2>Block Reflow</h2> <p> Another way to debug the reflow process is implemented inside <a href="http://lxr.mozilla.org/seamonkey/source/layout/html/base/src/nsBlockFrame.cpp">nsBlockFrame.cpp</a>.
